Christmas Time
The stars were brightly shining
Ah, Christmas time.... It's such a lovely time of year. This holiday was particularly lovely—very peaceful; filled with serenity and free of stress.
Then we all tore into our gifts and threw wrapping paper all over the place.Wha-hoo!

First Day of School
Ella's an old hand at it; Owen starts fresh
It went as smooth as silk. Owen had no problem on his first day of kindergarten, he went straight in and waved bye to me. Ella directed him to his classroom door and showed him which hook was his, and then bolted upstairs to her class.
It was difficult for me—I had to sit across the street at a coffee shop all morning. I read the paper and a magazine and wasn't interrupted every ten seconds. It's something that will take time for me to get used to, but I think I'll manage.
