Deck the Fireplace
Preparing for the man in the red suit
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring except Ella and Owen as they hung the stockings by the chimney with care (and labels) in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
Then, finally, the children were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of licorice all-sorts danced in their heads. And Mama in her robe, and I look'n fine, had just settled our brains for a little winter's wine. account of the visit-> |

Boo
Zombies and witches oh my!
We had so much bloody candy that they had to use plastic surgery to remove the smiles from our faces. We all were on such massive sugar highs that we didn't come down for days. Scary stuff-> |

Peterborough Ex
Let's go to the Ex, oh baby!
We hooked up with the Texas clan and crashed the midway. Rides and games and a haunted house; cotton candy and popcorn and soda popsit's all fun and games at the Peterborough Exhibition. Just when you thought that it couldn't get any better, they had monster trucks and a smash 'em up derby. view the carnage-> |

Mother's Day
A nice afternoon spent at the fair
We spent Mother's Day at Ontario Place. It was a tad cool, so we didn't soak up the Water Park. We did, however, play a round of Mini-Putt and the Mother did win, and Ella showed Owen how to drive a car. And fun was had by all. see the glee-> |

Jamaican Vacation
Finding more fun in the sun, ya mon
O winter, I deeply love you, but perchance we need some time apart. I intensely desire to return to your harsh winds and your dire temperatures once I've tasted the sun again; once I've felt its warmth on my skin.
Please wait for me, o great winter, I shall return from my southern sojourn with a fresh perspective and perhaps a better understanding of your temperament. Be patient, my dearest. More Fun in the sun-> |
